OMD – Out-Side Mold Decoration
OMD involves printing patterns onto a transparent film and transferring them onto plastic (or metal/carbon fiber/curved glass/wood) components using a controlled combination of pressure, temperature, and time.
This process enables decorative surface treatment outside the mold, using either transfer or direct forming methods:

<1>.Extended from IMD/IMR technology:
IMR-type transfer → OMR (Out-Mold Release)

<2>.Extended from INS/IMF technology:
Direct film forming → OMF (Out-Mold Forming)
