There are 2 proven and reliable methods of residual stress measurement, the X-ray method and the blind hole method. The X-ray diffraction method is the most technologically mature residual stress test method without destroying the body of the part. The equipment utilizes the diffraction principle of X-rays to measure the aberration of the dot matrix generated when residual stress exists in the metal material, and then calculates the residual stress.It is widely used in major research institutes, universities and enterprises in China.
