Transfer feeder positioning is based on cartesian coordinate system. Through linear drive module it fulfills 3 motions, namely clamping-unclamping, rising-lowering and feeding-withdrawing. This feeder has pneumatic quick change device and servo motor drive. Step response is quick and repetitive positioning error is small. Whole machine in production test has proven that this control system enables complete coordination between feeder and transfer press as required.
