FFT BestFit® is an automatic sensor-guided mounting technology Where a part to be mounted is positioned to the „BEST FIT®“ position of an opening. Gap and alignment of closure and body are measured by several camera systems. Based on nominal data optimized position will be calculated and transfer to robot system. Then the robot will position the closure to optimized position. After assembling the quality is confirmed，final assembling status is measured and the data will be stored for quality reports. Benefit of BestFit® is as following: saving man power cost, improving car’s appearance, increasing car quality and stability, higher flexibility in assembling.
