Hope Group Breaks New Ground, Leading Curved Automotive Glass Forming Technology onto the Global Stage
Hope Group is renowned for offering a diverse range of automotive materials. Its subsidiary, IMF Machinery, specializes in developing high-precision, high-yield 3D curved automotive glass forming and shaping machines. These machines provide highly cost-effective solutions for manufacturing complex curved glass components, including curved center consoles, IVI (In-Vehicle Infotainment) system panels, and instrument clusters. This innovation has helped major European and Japanese automakers gain a competitive edge in the curved automotive glass market.
As the company enters 2025, Ai Yuan Fu marks the fifth year of advancement in flat-glass thermoforming technology and officially expands into the mass production of medium- to large-sized curved automotive display panels and touchscreens, with sizes extended up to 1600 mm. These components are widely adopted in premium new energy vehicles and smart cockpit systems across Europe, the United States, and Japan.
In terms of technical milestones, IMF launched a 1300 mm single-station forming furnace for mass production as early as 2018. By 2021, the company introduced a scalable continuous forming system capable of handling 2 to 8 furnace modules. In 2024, it achieved a major upgrade with the Tower Forming System 3.0. The latest system supports modular mold bases with multiple cavities, capable of forming either single large-sized or multiple curved glass pieces in one cycle — offering unmatched flexibility to meet the diverse manufacturing demands of automotive display panels.
From technical development and process innovation to customer applications and global market expansion, Hope Group continues to drive industry transformation through innovation, delivering world-leading solutions for complex, curved automotive glass forming.
